Dr. Weiss has received $100,000 from the State of Ohio to provide rapid, free magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams to Hamilton County children with chronic neurological conditions and other disabilities.

A multiparametric contrast survey of the entire brain and spine was achievable in under two minutes. Additional submillimeter in-plane resolution T2 and 3D FLAIR sequencing, imaging time remained under 10 minutes.

Our imaging team has developed two no-cost (free) brain and spine MRI clinics for the children of Hamilton County, Ohio. We have partnered with Dr. Set Shahbabian at WestImage and University of Cincinnati Medical Center to provide free brain and/or spine exams on state of the art GE 3T MRI scanners.
Subjects need to be between the ages of 6-17 and have a known or suspected neurological condition and a physician referral. Participating children have a choice of participation gifts from a $40 Target gift card or Rock climbing for two at:
Rockquest Climbing Center-“for the climb of your life!”
